Turquoise with Crystals Olives Bowl

Whether you like your olives in a warm marinade or with a fresh chill, you can use the smaller bowl for tidy disposal of the pits. Or consider this dish for any small quantity of appetizer with condiment. The design also works great as a snack-bowl-for-one with cherries, veggies and hummus, or nachos and dip. 

Stoneware clay gives this bowl its strength and durability. After throwing this item as two pieces on the wheel, then joining them, I used a turquoise tone highlighted with bursts of crystalline glaze for a fresh presentation.
