Sakura Coffee Mug

Everything tastes better in stoneware, from a morning coffee, a relaxing herbal tea, lunchtime soup or hot cocoa by the fireside. This mug also makes a thoughtful gift for holiday party hosts, alone or filled with wrapped truffles or specialty tea.

For this one-of-a-kind mug, I hand painted the bisque-fired mug with pink cherry blossoms around the exterior, and added a translucent petal pink glaze to the inside. The entire mug then got dipped in a clear glaze that adds gloss and durability. This mug holds 8 oz.
