This beautiful handmade serving bowl adds elegance and freshness to your table as a serving bowl or artisan centrepiece. Enjoy this large decorative pottery bowl with a pile of fresh fruit, a mound of pasta salad or rice pilaf, mesclun salad, strawberries with whipped cream for the brunch crowd, and more.

For this wheel-thrown pottery bowl, I hand painted the interior surface with hydrangea blooms in a warm medium pink underglaze with delicate brown stems. After a second bisque firing, I glazed the outside with a coordinating translucent muted pink glaze. Finally, a glossy glaze adds durability to the interior.
