Olives Bowl, Folded Edge Style, Green Ivy

Whether you like your olives in a warm marinade or with a fresh chill, you can use the smaller bowl for tidy disposal of the pits. Or consider this dish for any small quantity of appetizer with condiment. The design also works great as a snack-bowl-for-one with cherries, watermelon, veggies and dip, or nachos and salsa. 

For the Folded Edge olive bowl style, the small bowl is attached onto the folded edge of the main bowl. This combo starts with a bowl thrown on the wheel, and the smaller bowl thrown off the hump (a big lump of clay from which small items are made in succession). The main bowl and the smaller one are sealed together with slip, a liquid clay.
