Lime Green Pot

With its food-safe glaze, this pot can even be used on your table for generous servings of dips, sauces and other condiments.

This item was thrown and trimmed on the wheel, after which I cut overlapping facets around the lower half. After its first firing in an electric kiln, I glazed the entire surface with three coats of a pale-lime-green glaze designed to vitrify the surface and add shine. Next, I overlapped a muted leafy green to echo natural plant tones and fired it for the final time.
