Shiny Globe Bowl

This unique small bowl pairs a modern profile with a vibrant tone. The deep round bowl works well as a generous dip bowl, sauce bowl, candy bowl and more. It makes a cool minimalist statement as a home decor accessory.

After throwing this globe-shaped bowl on the wheel, I painted several layers of slip (liquid clay) hand-tinted a custom cobalt shade. Once dried and fired in the kiln, I dipped the bowl in a clear glaze for a shiny durable finish.
