Leave it to the French to figure out how to keep butter fresh and spreadable at room-temperature. Finally, no more inelegant tearing of baguette with cold pats!
To use this butter bell, pack softened butter into the cup attached to the lid. Fill the base with cold water. When the butter-filled lid is inserted into the base, the water creates an airtight seal to prevent butter from spoiling due to exposure to the air.Â
Despite the name, this piece holds plenty of versatility. Use the combo for dip and mini naan, or mini cheese cubes and toothpicks or turn the base into a candy dish.
This butter keeper is thrown on the wheel in two parts, with careful measuring to ensure the lid fits into the base. The translucent turquoise glaze is highlighted with flowing earthy tones.Â
