Daisy Chain Medium Bowl in Navy

Inspired by flower blooms and a vintage woodblock print, this charming bowl is embellished by hand with eye-catching cascades of cheerful blooms. Brighten your kitchen and display as a beautiful accent, or charm your guests with side dishes, vegetable salads, fresh strawberries, fruit salad and more. Plus, it looks equally attractive filled or empty.

After firing this stoneware bowl in an electric kiln, I drew each flower in a repeating pattern and painted underglazes on the exterior. The painted pattern gets set with a second firing in the kiln. Finally, I used a glossy translucent sky blue glaze on the interior for a smooth finish before its final glaze firing.
