Blue Bark Small Bowl

For gatherings, fill this textured blue ceramic bowl with crackers, candy, snacks, cookies, small side dishes of pilafs, couscous and more. Enjoy noodles, cereal, soup, stews or grain bowls. Or simply enjoy it as a home-decor accessory. After throwing this bowl on the wheel, I painted cobalt-coloured slip all over the surface, into which I carved a bark texture. Once fired in an electric kiln, I dipped it in a clear glaze for durability and shine.
