Blue Bark Coffee Mug
Couldn't load pickup availability
Everything tastes better in a ceramic handmade mug, from tea and coffee to your favorite hot cocoa recipe. Made from stoneware, this blue and white mug features a rustically elegant natural texture. It's perfect for an inexpensive hostess gift or a unique holiday gift idea.
After I threw the form on the wheel, I hand-painted the surface with several coats of slip (liquid clay) that I had tinted rich cobalt. I then carved bark texture using a technique known as sgraffito. The handcrafted textured black cup has a shiny clear glaze for durability and gloss. This mug holds 8 oz.
