Birch Speckled Casserole

Cook scalloped potatoes, roast root vegetables, or bake a small lasagna, casserole, apple crisp, or other dessert and bring it right to the table. This item also doubles as a serving piece for a mound of chips, sliced fruit, dessert squares and more. 

This casserole started thrown on the wheel, after which I altered the shape, impressed a spiral in the bottom, and formed handles to adhere to the casserole. After being fired in an electric kiln, I choose this speckled glaze with rich brown tones.
