Bark Textured Vase

The organic style of this vase brings the tranquility of the woods to your home. The neutral tones work with understated modern interiors, while the elegant rusticism effortlessly fits in natural-themed rooms or an upscale cottage style.

I made this vases with by rolling out a slab for each and fashioning the cylinder. Once it was dry enough to handle, I carved a naturalistic pattern that's inspired by the texture of tree bark. After its first firing, I dipped the vase in three glazes, overlapping them to create new shades and poured a liner glaze inside to ensure a waterproof vitrified surface.
